


Yoga on the Mall

Squeeze some sun and savasana into your day!
This summer, join UBC Inspired for weekly outdoor yoga on campus. Certified yoga teachers from UBC Recreation will lead a practice for all ages and levels (beginners are most welcome). Have a lunch break or a spare hour between classes? This is a perfect event for you.
Yoga on the Mall classes are free to attend and open to all students, faculty, staff, residents and visitors. Everyone is welcome to join!
- When: Every Wednesday, July 9 – August 13 (6 classes in total)
- Time: 12 pm – 12:45 pm
- Location: Grass field by Main Mall & Stores Road (near Earth Sciences Building)*
- What to bring: Please bring your own mat and a water bottle. Don’t have a mat? Practice on the grass or a blanket works too!

Please Note
- Classes are drop-in; registration is not required.
- You will be required to sign a waiver for each class before participating.
- Class starts at 12:00 pm. Please come at 11:45 am to sign your waiver and settle into your spot, as well as to participate in a pop-up activity of the week.
*Classes run rain or shine — in the event of rain or extreme weather, classes will move indoors. Updates will be shared on our social media @ubc_inspired and this webpage.

Come to our first welcome-back popsicle social on Wednesday, July 9 to enjoy a refreshing treat after your yoga session.
Collect your stamp card and earn stamps to be entered into a prize draw at the end of the series. The more sessions you attend – the more entries!
Each class is unique and may include additional activities. Each session will also have a theme and a pop-up activity before the class starts. Click each class date for details and to meet the teachers!
