Lights at Lee Square

Vibrant art and animations feature in the Lights at Lee Square!

The Lights at Lee Square is located outside of the UBC Bookstore, in the plaza formally known as Money and Raymond M.C. Lee Square. From dusk to dawn, the space is illuminated with themed animations and images, courtesy of a permanently installed, overhead projection system.

From sharing community artwork to highlighting important campus priorities like climate action, the Lights at Lee Square helps light up the night, nurturing a vibrant and dynamic campus space.

Watch out for some fun interactive projects to make your commute through Lee Square a special part of your evening experience at UBC! Interested in seeing your own artwork displayed? Check out this year’s design competition!
